Over-use
is the worst offender of all.
As an example of this,
look at television; a tool with incredible potential for
educating, informing and entertaining the public. What a
joke-- we all know what has happened to this medium.
Instead of enjoying one or two programs, then turning the
television off and spending time with thier loved ones,
or venturing back out into the "real" world,
people sit passively for hours watching what's dealt
them. The power structure of the American- corporate-
marketing- behemoth that we're all falling victim to
depends on this kind of passive watching.
