RESIDENCIES

1996

  • Shaker Lakes Regional GREEN Project. The Shaker Lakes Regional Nature Center, Shaker Heights, Ohio. This eight week Saturday workshop brought together students from three neighboring school districts to create an oversize map following the development of the Doan Brook through their neighborhoods

1995

  • Ohio Arts Council, Cleveland School of the Arts, Cleveland, Ohio. This sixteen-week residency working with ninth and tenth graders focused on the idea of the time-line. Using photography, we examined the history of art, music, theater and literature creating a number of collages which were then placed into boxes along with objects of that time period

1994

  • Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art, Robert H. Jamison Computech, Cleveland,Ohio. This eight-week residency with third and fourth graders combined the basics fundamentals of darkroom techniques along with computer generated images
  • Ohio Arts Council, Troy Junior High School, Troy, Ohio. This two-week residency for eleven through thirteen year-old was devoted to photographic light-box construction

  • Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art, Robert H. Jamison Computech, Cleveland, Ohio. This eight-week residency taught fourth and fifth graders various photographic techniques to create work dealing with the theme of scientific inventions
