Artist Statement

The work I am doing now is about mapping, using history, archeology, and storytelling. I'm interested in investigating the way we impact the earth. I make paintings and books about my observations.

Teaching Philosophy

I wish to inspire, motive, and educate by encouraging students to understand their culture and history. I wish to instill in students the importance of knowledge and education through the arts about how important it is that they be the bridge to the community. My influences are culture, art, and the environment.
